Hello everyone! My name is Rusty Priske and I am the National Slam Master for Spoken Word Canada.

I have been doing this job for a few years but this year I have decided that it is time to address all those rules that we take for granted.

Basically, instead of sticking by the rules because ‘that is just the way it is’, I want to look at all rules to find a set that work best for our community.

The Launch

Section 3e – Discussion – Time Limits & Penalties
Section 3f – Discussion – Costumes & Props
Section 3g-i – Discussion – Primary Pen and Performing a poem
